NOTE: Reunion will be held at 7pm June 16th, 2012 at Joey's. There has been some confusion about the date, so remember, like last time, this coincides with Father's Day weekend. I will update this site in the coming weeks. Thanks, Thomas Chance

FIRST THURSDAY OF THE MONTH LUNCH AT JOEYS:
While the 30th class reunion has come and gone, we can still get together to visit. The first Thursday of every month we can meet at Joey's for lunch. Try to arrive by 11:45 so we can beat the crowd. If you are the first one there, go for a table by the stairs. Remember, the first Thursday of the month, head to Joey's for lunch and visit with whoever else shows up!
CLASS REUNION REPORT (June 17, 2007):
It was great seeing everyone at the 30th class reunion. We had an excellent turnout (about 75 people), and everything went well. A few people did not show up for various reasons, and there were a few classmates that we never could find. For those that missed it, the event was held at Joey's reception hall in Lafayette. Joey's staff provided excellent service, great food, and a wonderful setting.
The event was casual, and there was lots of gabbing going on. Art Garrett and I used a projector to show this website for those that had not seen it. We also made PowerPoint shows of the old times. Art showed how things changed since the '70s and made his predictions for the future. We also played "Who the Hell is That?" For this, we showed old pictures of classmates (including lots of honorary graduates) and allowed the audience to guess who was in the picture before we showed the name. Some of the pictures were from the first grade!
The PowerPoint was followed by several door prizes provided by Joey's, Acadian Religious & Gifts, and C & C Technologies. We then took a group picture. By midnight, after the chairs were stacked, the rant continued in front of Joey's 'till around 1am. All in all, we had a great turnout and the reunion was a real success.
While Rhonda helped organize the reunion, she unfortunately had to miss it because she was in the hospital. We did talk with her by phone from the reunion and she seemed to be in good spirits (of course many of those at the reunion had plenty of "good spirits" of their own)! We wish Rhonda a speedy and full recovery.
As many of you know, there was a mix up on some of the early checks and RSVPs. We never did see those because they went to Rhonda's house, and Rhonda went to the hospital. So for those who sent checks to Rhonda early, we had you pay again at the door. Once the lost checks are recovered, we will destroy them so you are not charged twice. I apologize for this inconvenience.
In about a week, I will send out an email to all of those in attendance with a couple attachments including a list of attendees with contact information and the group photo. If you did not attend and want to get this information, contact me at the email address below.
I particularly want to thank Art Garrett, Joey Beyt, Rhonda Huebner, and Mona Woodson (who works at my office) for their help in making the reunion a success. I also want to thank Virginia Crockett and Jovette Mosing who provided some last minute help.
Again, it was certainly great seeing everyone.
All the best,
Thomas Chance
